For her undergraduate studies, Dr. Valerie Paul attended the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1977. She then attended the university's Dental School where she graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine.  In 1980, Dr. Paul was granted early graduation, and based on acedemic and clinical performance excellence, was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.  She subsequently attended a one year general practice residency at the VA hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

     Dr. Valerie Paul has been practicing family dentistry in Natrona Heights since 1982, and is actively involved in continuing education. Dr. Paul is a current memeber of the local Alle-Kiski Dental Society and the American Dental Association (ADA).  Her practice is based on prevention and the early detection of oral cancer.  She welcomes all age groups, and particularly enjoys working with her pediatric patients, as well as her seniors.

     Valerie Paul has been happily married for nearly 40 years to her husband Stanley Paul.  They've been blessed with two beautiful children, Christopher and Alie.  She is an avid gardener, loves interior decorating and design, and enjoys walking their two family dogs.  On weekends the family enjoys fishing trips and boating.  In the summer months they traditionally take family vacations to the beach where she developed her love of shelling.
